Set Identifiable Goals

Most people do not pick a quantifiable measure for their success.

For example, many of us want "to get in better shape" - but how will you know whether you are in a better shape? You need to be able to measure whether you have achieved your target or how far you are away from it.

So when you're setting your fitness target, it's much better to use something measurable like a waist measurement as your goal and than break that down into smaller measurements over a period of time.
