Group Exercise Overview

We call our group exercise classes Group X®. They're groups of people working out, enjoying fitness classes and getting in the best shape of their lives.  California Fitness was the first to bring group exercise to Hong Kong, and over a decade later, we're still the best!  Nobody has a more diverse range of Group X classes in Hong Kong which is constantly updated and shaped by our team of international instructors. So we challenge you to find a class you don't love.

 

Most fitness classes are free with your gym membership and all exercise classes are designed to help you reach your own personal fitness goals in a fun and energizing environment.

 

Cardio Fitness

While Aerobics and Steps are still the most popular and effective workouts to build cardiovascular endurance, Cardio Fitness classes at California Fitness offer so much more.  Have you tried our Zumba Fitness and Zumba Toning classes - party-like high-energy classes with easy-to-follow dance steps fuse with exciting Latin rhythms? 

 

Indoor Cycling / Spinning

Cycling is great for strengthening the heart and lungs, burning calories and decreasing stress.   And there is no better way of enjoying cycling's benefits than in a fun and supportive group setting, led by our energetic instructors, with motivating music to cheer you along.

 

Body Toning & Shaping

California Fitness Body Toning & Shaping group classes do so much more than just tone and sculpt your muscles, they will boost your metabolism so you burn fat more efficiently and improve your bone density too! And our provision of BOSU Balance Trainer class helps improve your agility, integrated movement, balance and power up your muscles.

 

Dance Classes

Experience the joy of moving to music while improving your level of fitness, and burn 300-500 calories while you do it. California Fitness offers a huge variety of dance classes - from Jazz to Latin to Hip Hop - whether you are a new dancer or an experienced diva, you are bound to find something you like.

Les Mills Programs

Try the ever-popular Les Mills® Group Exercise Programs in California Fitness, classes available include BodyPump - the original barbell class, BodyCombat - the exhilarating kickboxing-style workout, BodyJam - the sensational dance workout and BodyBalance - a mind body class that combines Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates. CXWORX, one of the most sought after Les Mills programs, which hones in on the torso and sling muscles that connect your upper body to your lower body. It's ideal for tightening your tummy and butt, while also improving functional strength and assisting in injury prevention.
